About Rockbottom Rentals

Twenty-five years ago, Rockbottom Rentals was just an idea, a risk. We started out as a cell phone rental company for the entertainment industry. Then walkies came into play, and smartphones emerged. Soon enough, we had amassed almost ten-thousand radios and a growing supply of wireless devices. From our rather humble beginnings – seventeen phones! – we became a preferred vendor at every major studio.

Truth be told, we weren’t happy when Hollywood disappeared from California and emerged in Albuquerque, Atlanta, you name it. However, we recognized – and respected – the industry’s need for a qualified vendor in those locations. So we opened our wallets and invested in becoming your vendor of choice in whichever state you went to. There are many outfits out there, but few cared about protecting your rebate and your vendor relationship.

Fortunately, that gamble paid off; and today we have studios around the country asking us to come to them. We still rent cell phones, but we also have wireless internet for your trailers and satellite trailers for your far-flung locations. We’ve installed office phones for dozens of high-profile films, and our product line continues to diversify. We are now a distributor for Airbus, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of satellite equipment – wait until you see the new toys we have up our sleeve! And that’s not all. Lately, we’ve enjoyed great success bringing cellular amplification and robust Wi-Fi access points to soundstages. Now, you can use your phones and tablets in those cement cages.

It is astounding how much new content is being made for television, theaters, and the web these days. This is a booming industry, and we at Rockbottom are happy to be a part of it!
